Sandwiched between UFC 142 and UFC on Fox, we have UFC on FX with a good main card and a pretty much unheard of prelim card.
Khabib Nurmagomedov (thank the lord for copy and paste) is a Russian Sambo fighter with a MMA record of 16-0. I'm expecting big things from him based on his record alone.
Jorge Rivera has lost the last 2, could the writing be on the wall? He can be a very entertaining fighter, so probably not, but he's on the preliminary card which is not good for someone of his experience. He needs a win.
The main event, I could see it going either way. Either a 30 second KO for Melvin Guillard or a ground and pound clinic from Jim Miller. I do feel that this depends on which Melvin Guillard turns up, the one who had 5 wins in a row, or Mr Inconsistent as he was before. I do see this being a very good fight.
No predictions, no bets, no idea who some of the people are, no idea what's going to happen, BUT these are often the best events. Lots of small names with a point to prove and a couple of big names (Barry and Rivera) with a contract to keep! Editors note: Fingers crossed for Barry.
